The importance of having safety expertise close at hand

When it comes to protecting the safety and health of your employees, make sure you have the expertise you need when and where you need it.

FDRsafety has launched an initiative to make our industry-leading safety and health expertise more accessible to clients by opening regional offices around the country. Offices are opening to serve the Washington, D.C., metro area; the Atlanta area; the Kansas City area; and Southern California, with other locations to come.

“With our new regional offices, we will be able to more easily and economically provide on-site services to our clients in all industries,” explains Fred Rine, CEO and founder of FDRsafety. “We are fortunate to have Tim Sirofchuck leading this initiative. Tim is nationally recognized for his safety and health expertise and leadership at two of the nation’s largest construction companies.”

Mr. Sirofchuck, who was recently appointed as FDR’s Chief Operating Officer, came to FDRsafety as a vice president in 2014 from Clark Construction Group, a general contractor with annual revenues of approximately $4 billion, where he was Vice President and Corporate Safety Director. Previously, he was Vice President of Safety and Loss Control at Turner Construction, where he oversaw a staff of 145 safety and health professionals.

According to Tim, “Our clients will benefit from our new regional network in the delivery of all our services, including on-site safety professionals, safety awareness training, OHSA compliance and expert witness. Companies may particularly want to explore our safety program management service, in which we assist in the management of a company’s safety program.

“Professionals from our regional offices provide on-site management of safety and health programs – from program planning to training, assessments and accident investigations,” Sirofchuck said. “This service enables FDRsafety to have more of a local presence, thus making our expertise even more easily available to our clients.”

That expertise is evident throughout FDRsafety. CEO Fred Rine founded one of the largest and most effective safety programs in the country at FedEx. President Jim Stanley is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA and Vice President, Safety and Health, for AK Steel.

“Our new regional office network will greatly benefit our clients,” Stanley said. “We look forward to even greater capabilities in assisting clients in keeping their workplaces safe.”
